The idea for the Liebster Award seems to come from the German Bird of a Paradise Blog. 

The  rules for the Liebster Award are as follows:

1. Thank the person who nominated and link back to their blog
2. Display the Liebster Award on your blog
3. Share 11 random facts about yourself
4. Answer the 11 questions you were asked
5. Nominate 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers for the award
6. Make sure to let the bloggers know that you nominated them

1. Who is your favorite author? I have more than one favorite author, in different genres, so I’ll choose Dan Brown for this question.
2. What do you want readers to take away from your blog/website? I want to connect with readers, so they  feel understood or have a new perspective on a given subject/idea.
3. When you think of your childhood, what is your most happy memory? One that comes to mind are the plays that used to be held after school. These were my introduction to live theater performances and I remember being super excited all day in school, waiting to go see the play!
4. Where do you go when you seek peace of mind/serenity? The beach
5. Why do you like to write? To let the emotions out.
6. Which do you prefer:  books, movies, serialTV/streaming shows, or     audio books/podcasts? No preference; I enjoy them all.
7. How do you make time to write with all of life’s interruptions? I get up earlier and stay up later.
8. Have you ever written a post, but decided to delete or not post it? Yes, a couple times.
