Here’s my photo from this morning. I’m visiting my brother in Ohio for the holiday weekend. He has a large property with a small lake and lots of….you guessed it…trees! 

The weather has been beautiful and we’re having a wonderful, relaxing time.

Jo’s Monday Walk Photo Challenge | September 10

Walking in our local park provides more than just exercise. It gives me a chance to think without the distractions; electronic and otherwise. 

I can enjoy the beautiful scenery and, for now, the greenery. It won’t be long before the frigid snow blankets everything and the only sounds are the lonely rustling of the wind.

On this day the sky offered a lovely view of the sun’s rays peeking through a blue sky mottled with gauzy clouds.

Soon the landscape will turn to hues of orange, yellow, and brown as it prepares for autumn and anticipates winter.

I’ve watched this same cycle and landscape for decades.

And I’ll enjoy it all over again.
