January Lights Photo Challenge | Day 13

“Give light and people will find the way.” – Ella Baker

Streetlight

Here’s a shot from historic Charlottesville, VA. This is at the downtown pedestrian mall lined with shops, vendors and eateries of various types. It was another random photo that happened to contain an interesting looking streetlight, so… there you are!

“So much of life, it seems to me, is determined by pure randomness.” – Sidney Poitier

Docklight

Have you ever scrolled through your camera roll and wondered why in the world you took certain photos?

Well, after participating in various photo challenges, I realized that seemingly random images could come in handy. This encouraged me to be more observant of my surroundings and notice mundane things.

I’ve also found inspiration for blog posts in some of these captures and occasionally turn them into quote memes with my Word Swag app.

Therefore, I think it’s safe to assume that there’s always the potential for creativity in randomness. Because it’s not about the picture itself, but the interpretation!
